FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing ceramic face brick is intended for making construction materials. Method consists in preparation of a clay raw stock, introduction of additives, formation of products from the produced charge, in their drying and firing. To produce charge there used is refractory clay, slag of nickel production of Ufaleynickel OJSC, microsilica - waste from Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Plant of ferrosilicon or ferro-silicochrome production, carbide lime from Santechmontazh Chelyabinsk Trest and water in following ratio, wt. %: refractory clay 60–65, nickel production slag 8–11, microsilica 7–9, carbide lime 5–6, water is the rest. Refractory clay in a mixture with microsilica is crushed in presence of water in a roller crusher at temperature of 100–110 °C to particle size of 1 mm, obtained mixture together with nickel production slag and carbide lime is mixed in a drum two-shaft mixer, molded into a bar, cut into workpieces, dried and fired at temperature of 950–1100 °C.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is high strength and frost resistance of ceramic face brick.
