FIELD: knitting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to knitting pin (10), in particular, for manufacture of knitted product (50) with pigtails, comprising at least one rigid point (11) of the spoke and rod (12), on which in at least separate regions knitted article (50) can be located. Invention now proposes that rod (12) in at least some regions consists of reversibly plastic deformable by bending in different directions of material, wherein transition (14) between rod (12) and needle point (11) is smooth and made flush. Further, the invention discloses a method of making such knitting pin (10).
EFFECT: disclosed is knitting pin, in particular, for production of knitted products with braids and method of making knitting pin.
