MODULAR DEMONSTRATION PANELS WITH ELECTRONIC PROTECTION, OPERATING AGAINST SHORT-CIRCUIT-PROOF POWER SOURCES OF SAFE LOW VOLTAGE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G09B23/06 G09B23/24 G09G3/3291 H02B7/00

Abstract RU 2739580 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system of student and teacher workstations, including modular display panels, receiving power from short-circuiting sources of safe low-voltage sources, for safe performance of experiments in school classes and educational institutions in the field of physics - electrical engineering and electrochemistry. It is achieved by the fact that, when using the MDP, at least one modular panel (W) is placed on student workstation (SW) (1), and one - at teacher workstation (TW) (10), wherein said panels consist of at least one removable (2) demonstration module (6) consisting of printed-circuit board (18) with components (7), safe connectors (8) and overload protection circuit (9). SW (1) and TW (10) are equipped with short-circuiting sources (3) of safe low voltage (SSLW), which receive controlled voltage of 0–230 V from automatic transformer (4) arranged on panel (5) of teacher control. At that, SSLW (3) are made as safe separating transformer (12), which is resistant to short circuit, which generates galvanically isolated safe low alternating voltage (11) between output connectors (17). Control panel (5) on TW (10) receives power supply via cable (13) from distribution network of common use with low alternating voltage and is equipped with automatic transformer (4) and voltmeter (14) of AC voltage. Output voltage of automatic transformer (4) is connected through cable (15) simultaneously to input terminals (16) of all SSLW (3). Secondary voltage of the safe isolating transformer (12) is connected to output connectors (17). At that, SSLW (3) resistant to short-circuiting on TW (10) is identical to SSLW (3) short-circuited on all SW (1), therefore voltage is set by means of automatic transformer (4), and value of output voltage is read using voltmeter (14) of alternating voltage.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of centralized installation of the same voltage from the teacher workstation for all MDP included in the student workstation system, with limitation of the power supply source output power, at that, the MDP power can be safely limited by the power of the local source, which prevents short-circuit effect of one MDP to other MDP, as well as, if necessary, enabling adjustment of the output voltage.
