FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to electromobile vehicles, in particular, to a three-phase traction converter for controlling a synchronous electric machine, which converts DC voltage of one value into AC voltage of another value, as well as performing AC recuperation from electric motor into direct current for charging traction batteries. Electric vehicle traction inverter comprises an electromagnetic compatibility filter connected to a DC bus capacitor connected to at least three power SiC-transistor modules, one of which is equipped with a temperature sensor, wherein all modules are connected to each other and to the control board. Control board comprises a central processor configured to exchange data with the upper level program of the electromobile transport control system, which processes discrete signals of high-voltage interlocking protective circuits, SiC-transistor module temperature sensor measurement circuits, motor stator windings temperature measurement circuits, DC bus voltage measurement circuits, on-board network voltage measurement circuits, transmitting settings to the processor executing the electric motor vehicle control program, and receiving from the auxiliary coprocessor data on the position of the motor rotor relative to the stator, obtained by means of the rotor position sensor measurement circuits and the rotor position sensor signal generation circuits. Inverter additionally contains two current sensors, each of which consists of a ring of ferrimagnetic material and a Hall sensor on the control board. Besides, inverter comprises drivers of power modules, main power supply source from on-board network of electromobile transport for drivers of power modules, to which power supply source for measuring circuits and processors is connected, as well as backup power supply source from high-voltage network.

EFFECT: increasing power density at maintaining high efficiency, reducing weight and size parameters of the inverter and safe operation of the traction inverter in emergency modes.
