FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to tetraspanin-based fusion proteins, in which the extracellular loop is completely or partially replaced by peptide sequences of different composition, and can be used for their production and use as a carrier. Fused protein consists of a first domain (i), a second domain (ii) located between the first and third domains, and a third domain (iii), flexible linkers and, optionally, a terminal fourth and/or fifth domain. Domain (i) consists of the following domains of tetraspanin: transmembrane domain 1 (TM1), a small extracellular loop (SEL), transmembrane domain 2 (TM2), small intracellular loop (SIL) and transmembrane domain 3 (TM3). Domain (ii) consists of a peptide of less than 100 kDa with a given amino acid sequence, wherein domain (ii) has an amino acid sequence, which is identical to less than 70 % along the entire length in relation to LEL tetraspanin. Domain (iii) consists of transmembrane domain 4 (TM4) of tetraspanin.
EFFECT: invention enables presenting a peptide with a given amino acid sequence on the surface of a mammalian cell.
