FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering. In method of compensation of loss of thrust by engines of orientation of booster unit, algorithm of diagnostics of failures of orientation engines is used, and at critical loss of traction by orientation engines in pitch or yaw channel, orientation engines are used in roll channel. In the failure diagnostics algorithm, the rated torque M generated by the engine is determined, the angular velocity of the accelerating unit is measured, based on which the correction of the torque p generated by the engine is determined, its mathematical expectation
and its dispersion D(p); selecting time constant of aperiodic link by means of which false identification of engine failure is excluded; criterion of critical loss of thrust by engines is selected: M+
< M/3 and D(p) < M2/25.
EFFECT: technical result is provision of orientation of accelerating unit in case of failure of all standard engines of orientation in one of channels of pitch or yaw by using orientation engines in bank channel.
