SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to use of a barcode image for interaction between a mobile terminal and background servers. Such a result is achieved by: a mobile terminal configured to obtain a barcode image, decoding a barcode image to obtain corresponding encoding information; parsing coding information and extracting corresponding information about a product, as well as sending a service request to a background server; and a background server configured to receive a service request sent by the mobile terminal, a response to a service request and providing a service to the mobile terminal, wherein mobile terminal is equipped with client software corresponding to predetermined coding rule, such that when parsing coding information, the mobile terminal is configured to determine whether coding information was generated based on a predetermined coding rule, to determine whether the product information belongs to the merchant merchandise corresponding to the background server, and if it is determined that the product information belongs to the merchant's goods corresponding to the background server, the mobile terminal sends a service request to the background server.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of background server.
