FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of flaw detection, particularly to devices for improvement of in-pipe inspection of gas pipelines. Disclosed in-pipe diagnostic shell with a device for protecting a video camera lens from contamination comprises diagnostic, navigation, power sections, cups and spring-loaded wheels, moves along pipeline under action of pumped natural gas acting on cuffs. Also, the declared device is additionally equipped with a lighting device and a video camera, the lens of which is protected from contamination by the stream of natural gas filtered by the filter, which is supplied to the inner space of the blind installed on the lens, which occurs due to pressure difference before in-pipe diagnostic pig and behind it.
EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities of in-pipe diagnostic tools; improving informativity of conducted examinations.
