FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to particle, specifically to particle for volatile substance preservation, and to method of its production. Particle for volatile substance preservation contains at least one volatile substance includes: core, comprising at least one matrix material and at least one volatile substance and at least one coating layer, which is a discontinuous layer, containing at least a carrier material attached to the core. Method of producing a particle containing at least one volatile substance involves a number of steps: formation of a melt of at least one matrix material and at least one volatile substance, formation of a molten mixture, containing an emulsion, dispersion, solution or suspension of at least one volatile substance in the melt, by introducing it into the melt, formation of separate nuclei from molten mixture, cooling of separate nuclei, mixing of nuclei with at least one carrier material, as a result of which the first non-continuous layer is formed.
EFFECT: described particle and method of its production allow preserving volatile substance in particle so that there is practically no disappearance of the last of the cooking time for further processing and storage of the particles, where particle must be loose state, which is not sticky and does not become lumpy.
