FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to contact network of electric railways. Current-conducting string for attachment of contact wire on load-bearing cable of contact suspension is made of flexible wire with cable tips, fixed on string clamps, interacting with throws installed in end loops formed by flexible wire, and fixed crimping elements. One of the crimping elements is made integral with the adjusting device to change the string length. At that, the string is added with the current limiter installed into the flexible wire section. Current limiter is based on a thermistor with a positive temperature coefficient of resistance.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of string and contact suspension in general.
