FIELD: railways; overhead contact systems. SUBSTANCE: dropper is connected with tension to supporting cable 6 and contact wire 7 by its lower link 1, middle link 2 and upper link 3 through coupling units 4 and clamps 5. Units 4 coupling the links to each other and to clamps 5 are of fork shape with two sockets-contacts 8 branched off from link axles. Connections are implemented with effect of shock absorption of contact wire suspension owing to non-coaxial resilience of units 4 with possibility of alternate reconnection of contacts 8 of links 1, 2, 3 from one socket to another in case of wear in service without disconnecting links 1, 3 and clamps 5 form wires 6, 7 and connecting free end 9 of link 2, adjustable in height of contact wire 7, by making the end shorter or longer in combination unit 10 through insulating protective thimble 11 in one of two sockets 8 of link 1 by coiling it around its link.
