FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petrochemical synthesis, specifically to a method of producing cumene hydroperoxide. Method comprises feeding an oxidant into an upper portion of a reactor, reacting cumene with an oxidant in a reactor to obtain a stream of the reaction product, characterized in that a portion of the reaction product stream of the downstream reactor is recycled to the reactor top, pressure at reactor outlet exceeds pressure at reactor inlet by at least 5 %, wherein reaction flow in reactor moves vertically downwards at linear speed exceeding linear velocity of gas-oxidizer gas bubbles.
EFFECT: disclosed method enables to obtain an end product using simplified technology.
