FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plant for collection of fumarolic volcanic gases to obtain a combined concentrate consisting of concentrates N1, 2, 3, 4 containing rare and noble metals. Proposed plant comprises gas collector for collection of volcanic gas, electrostatic chamber, cyclone with hopper, cooling chamber, settling chamber and nozzle scrubber with exhaust ventilation. In upper part of electrostatic chamber there are holes for inlet of copper rods for ionisation and deposition of elements contained in volcanic gas in form of concentrate N1. Cyclone with bunker consists of tapered bottom part and cylindrical top part and is equipped with induction coil installed on outer surface of upper part. Hopper is located in the lower part of the cyclone for deposition of ferromagnetic and paramagnetic elements of volcanic gas in form of concentrate N2 under centrifugal force. Cooling chamber in the form of a hollow parallelepiped contains cylindrical copper elements, copper plates and branch pipes. Cylindrical copper elements are located in upper part of chamber, connected to high voltage source and connected to copper plates located perpendicular to gas flow. In upper part of cooling chamber there are branch pipes for supply of liquid nitrogen and condensation of volcanic gas into cavity of cooling chamber. Copper plates and settling chamber are made for deposition of elements contained in volcanic gas in form of concentrate N3. Hollow nozzle scrubber filters residual elements of volcanic gas for their sedimentation into slurry bin in form of concentrate N4.
EFFECT: unit makes it possible to isolate from volcanic fumarolic gas concentrates containing high content of rhenium, gold, palladium, platinum, germanium and indium, for further processing and production of rare-metal raw material.
