FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses an additive for reducing the pour point of crude oil, which contains at least one organic solvent and 20 to 40 wt % of at least one copolymer, consisting of at least two comonomers, wherein all comonomers constituting the copolymer are selected from groups (a) and (b) of comonomers, wherein group (a) of comonomers consists of acrylic acid and group (b) of comonomers consists of styrene, and wherein at least one copolymer has number-average molecular weight from 10,000 to 30,000 g/mol, fraction of comonomers of group (a) in at least one copolymer with respect to mixture of comonomers ranges from 2.0 to 9.0 wt %. Also disclosed is a method of producing a crude oil composition having a low pour point as compared to crude oil, including adding to crude oil of said additive and use of additive to reduce temperature of pour point of crude oil.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of rheological properties of paraffin crude oil.
