SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of multiplexing a port in a video conferencing system over a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Disclosed is method of port multiplexing, where a first connection initiated by a terminal is received by a server provided on a terminal and a video conferencing server; obtaining a registration message sent by the terminal through the first connection, and registration message is redirected to corresponding videoconferencing server, thus terminal is registered at video conferencing server. Receiving invitation message for participation, sent by one of terminals or videoconferencing server, which is later redirected to the other side, thereby establishing a session between the terminal and the video conferencing server. Receiving at least one connection initiated by a terminal, and various types of media streams sent by a terminal through at least one connection are obtained and converted, and then redirected to a video conferencing server, thereby realizing a video conference.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the complexity of deploying a video conferencing system and security risks.
