FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing of rotary machines of volumetric action. Seal comprises two pairs of main plates 3 and two pairs of side plates-compensators contacting each other with inner sides and deployed in slot 7 so that side compensator plates are located on opposite sides of groove 7 of stator 1, spring-loaded upper and lower springs 6 and 5 located in groove 7. Each of springs 6 and 5 has symmetrical cuts forming on each side of springs 6 and 5 on two ends, pressing independently each of plates in direction of rotor 2. Upper spring 6 independently acts on two plates 3. Lower spring 5 independently acts on two plates 3 and two plates-compensators, which due to interfacing with each other along inclined contact face are additionally pressed to end covers. Plates 3 have channels for supply of lubricant, arranged uniformly along the whole length of contact with rotor 2.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving tightness of chambers of rotary machine, resource of radial seals and simultaneous reduction of concentration of oil and its combustion products in working body leaving rotary machine.
