FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electronic device and a method of detecting an error when the electronic device is powered off. Electronic device includes a power switch which is manually set to ON or OFF, an actuator which sets the power switch to OFF, and a controller which outputs a control signal for controlling whether to apply power to the actuator. Electronic device reports various information based on whether or not power was supplied to the actuator after the controller outputted the control signal.
EFFECT: technical result is to identify the cause of failure when switching off the electronic device and, consequently, the corresponding equipment.
