Printing apparatus having a plurality of sheet storage units comprises: display module for displaying a sheet selection list by which the user can select a sheet, which is to be used for printing, wherein the sheet selection list provides the user with information regarding a portion of said plurality of sheet storage units, sheet selection list is divided and displayed on a plurality of pages; and a job module configured to define a sheet storage module, which is in the absence state of the sheets, in this case, when there is a sheet storage module in the absence state of the sheets, the mapping module initially displays a page from the aforementioned plurality of pages, which includes a sheet selection list, with information regarding the sheet storage module specified by the job module.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the efficiency of printing paper selection due to the initial display of the page with a list of sheet selection including information about an empty sheet storage module.
