FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for operation of wells by electric submersible pumping equipment with intervals of leakage of production string above productive formations. Packer with cable entry comprises outer and inner shafts interconnected by upper coupling. Sealing elements are installed on outer borehole. Cable is arranged between said outer and inner shafts. Outer and inner shafts are additionally connected by lower coupling. In holes of upper and lower couplings there are keys and a split ring providing transfer of torque, axial compression and extension from tubing string suspension. On the outer shaft under the sealing elements there is a mechanical anchor consisting of dies and a cone, the connection of which is made in the form of a dovetail. Ends of cable located between external and internal shafts are embedded in upper and lower set of current lead, which serves as electric contact between coupling of cable inlet and piece of cable inside packer. In the above upper and lower couplings there is a hole with mounting dimensions for seals on the cable entry coupling. Packer additionally comprises shear bolts providing compression of said sealing elements after axial load, as well as retainers ensuring transfer of torque from outer shaft to mechanical anchor.

EFFECT: increased reliability of packer due to increased tightness of contacts of electrical connection of cable and cable entry and exclusion of possibility of unintentional packer setting during descent.
