SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses a food processing device (2) comprising: container (4) having inner part; a sieve arranged in the inner part of container (4) and dividing the inner part into treatment space (14) and collection space (16); as well as processing element (8) made with possibility to process food product located in processing space. Sieve (7) comprises: first separating element (10) having a set of first holes (32); and second separating element (12), adjacent to first separating element and having a set of second holes (33), which are arranged so that they overlap a set of first holes to form a plurality of formed by aligning openings (35), which pass through first and second separating elements (10, 12) for passage of food product from space (14) for treatment into space (16) for collection. First and second separating elements (10, 12) are movable relative to each other between a first position and a second position to enable variation of degree of overlapping of sets of first and second holes and adjustment of cross-section area formed by alignment of openings (35). Each formed by combination opening (35) is formed by two sides (82, 88) of one of first holes (32) and either one side of one of second holes with formation of triangular cross-section, or by two sides (82', 88') of one of second holes (33) to form a quadrangular cross-section. In the second position, each opening (35) formed by aligning is formed by sections of each of said sides (82, 88; 82', 88') of first and second holes (32, 33), which are shorter than in the first position, so that in second position formed by aligning openings (35) have smaller cross-section area compared to first position.

EFFECT: disclosed is a food processing device and a sieve.
