FIELD: medicine; hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a personal hygiene device, a controller assembly and a drive gear for a personal hygiene device and a method of detecting the installation or removal of a detachable nozzle of a personal hygiene device. Assembly of controller and drive gear for personal hygiene device comprises resonator and drive coil. Resonator is connected to a transmission component configured to transfer oscillations to a detachable nozzle when the detachable nozzle is placed on a personal hygiene device. Drive coil is configured to swing the resonator in the first direction and to generate an installation or removal signal in response to the installation or removal of the detachable nozzle. Installation or removal of detachable nozzle creates movement of resonator in second direction. Drive transmission assembly is configured to transmit a generated setup or removal signal to the controller. Controller is configured to interpret the received installation or removal signal as an installation or removal of a detachable nozzle, respectively. Personal hygiene device comprises a controller and a drive transmission assembly and is configured to receive a detachable nozzle. Controller is configured to receive the generated signal and is additionally configured to interpret the signal as the detachable nozzle or detachment. When performing the method of detecting an installation or removing a detachable nozzle of a personal hygiene device, an installation or removal signal is generated. Signal is generated by the drive coil by moving the resonator in the second direction in response to the installation or detachment of the detachable nozzle. Generated installation or removal signal is transmitted to controller. Generated signal is interpreted by the controller as installation or removal of the detachable nozzle by the user.
EFFECT: provided are personal hygiene devices, which can determine whether the nozzle was installed or removed using the method of detecting the installation or removing the detachable nozzle, and which can respond to this state accordingly.
