FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for controlling a defibrillator during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Defibrillator comprising the first and second ECG analyzers is provided. First analyzer is designed to determine the heartbeat required discharge during the period of temporary termination of operation, characterized by the absence of an artifact in the form of interference from the signal caused by CPR. Second analyzer is designed to determine the heartbeat required discharge in the presence of an artifact in the form of interference from a signal caused by CPR. Data stream of ECG signal is received from external electrodes in electric contact with patient and connected with analyzers. Prompt is provided using audio or visual output instructions to provide consecutive CPR periods, in which the ECG signal is characterized by distortion on the side of the artifact in form of interference from CPR compressions, and periods of temporary termination of operation, in which the ECG signal is characterized by the absence of an artefact in the form of interference from the CPR compressions. Heartbeat signal is analyzed by first ECG analyzer during period of temporary termination of operation. Heart operation signal is analyzed by a second ECG analyzer. Reducing duration of period of temporary termination of operation until period of temporary termination of operation with shorter duration only if the first and second analyzers determined that the heart rate requiring the discharge is absent. Audible or visual instruction is issued for completion of the period of temporary suspension of work and for resumption of CPR at the end of the period of temporary termination of operation with reduced duration.
EFFECT: reduced time of "temporary termination of operation" required for ECG analysis, due to simultaneous and independent action of two analysis algorithms.
