FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Defibrillator for detection of heart rhythm, where there is need for electric shock, comprises a high-voltage supply circuit for electrotherapy; an input circuit of electrocardiogram (ECG) connected to ECG signal source; controller connected to input circuit of ECG circuit. Controller comprises an analyser of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for identification of periods of inactivity of CPR. Processor for making a decision on treatment, responding to ECG signals, operates to evaluate probability of rhythm, where electric shock is required, and uses ECG signals, produced only during periods of inactivity CPR, identified by analyser CPR based on ECG signals, accumulated for two periods of inactivity of CPR separated by period of activity of CPR. User interface, responding to determination of processor to make a decision on treatment, provides a command for outputting termination of CPR and next output command for electrotherapy through high-voltage circuit. Disclosed is a method of controlling output commands from defibrillator.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of resuscitation due to automatic determination of heart rhythm, where electric shock is required.
