FIELD: pumps building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a breather assembly assembly for a peristaltic pump comprising a breather tube and a cover. Cover is connected to the breather tube with possibility of disconnection and contains a sealing part. One element from the breather tube and the cover contains a guide, and the other element from the breather tube and cover has a projection interacting with the guide. Guide comprises successively located first section and second section separated from first section by first means and limited at its far end by second means. Ledge can pass the first means only when the specified force is applied to the cover, and can pass through the second device only when the specified second force is applied to the cover, so that the first and the second facilities prevent free movement of the projection along the guide. When the protrusion is in the first section, the sealing part of the cover is tightly pressed to the breather tube, and when the ledge is on the second section, the sealing part of the cover is separated from the breather tube, thus allowing the liquid to escape from the breather tube.
EFFECT: breather is proposed for peristaltic pump.
