FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of drying wet gas mixture, as well as an absorbent used in this method. Method of drying wet gas mixture G1, which contains CO2 and which is brought into contact with liquid absorbent A1, which contains a mixture of triethylene glycol and at least one salt S selected from Q+A, thereby producing a gas mixture G2 reduced in comparison with a wet mixed gas G1 and the moisture absorbent liquid A2 with increased compared with the liquid absorbent A1 moisture content, wherein Q+ is selected from a group consisting of 1,3-dimethylimidazolium-cation, 1,3-diethylimidazolium-cation, 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium-cation, and A is an anion selected from a group consisting of acetate, propionate, and wherein in liquid absorbent A1 ratio between weight of triethylene glycol and total weight of all salts of S ranges from 1:9 to 9:1.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of drying moist gas mixtures.
