FIELD: fishing and fish farming.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for delivery of at least one agent into fish egg(s). Caviar egg(s) is introduced in contact with at least one agent in the presence of a guanidine-containing compound effectively increasing permeability of egg(s) chorion, where the guanidine-containing compound is selected from arginine and salts thereof, guanidine and salts thereof and a dimer, a trimer and an arginine polymer. Methods include disturbed gonadal development by administering agents leading to disturbed development of fertile gonads and to sterile adult fishes. Agents can be delivered into eggs directly before fertilization or after fertilization by bringing into contact with a caviar in a dipping medium containing an agent of interest.

EFFECT: methods of delivering an agent into fish eggs are disclosed.
