FIELD: rocket equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as bench equipment for determination of combustion rate of solid rocket propellants (SRP) and speed of sublimation of polymer coatings, for example, heat-shielding coatings, armouring compounds of solid-propellant rocket engines, when blown with high-temperature gas.

EFFECT: technical problem is solved by the fact that compensation of burnt layer of sample is performed by its linear movement, which corresponds to the rate of its burning or sublimation, movement of the sample enables to ensure constant values of parameters of the blowing flow of high-temperature gas.
