FIELD: production of pipes.

SUBSTANCE: method involves unwinding of flat metal sheet from storage device, its bending to obtain tubular shape, in which the edges of the flat metal sheet form a seam along the longitudinal length of the tubular shape. Suture is welded to produce tubing, heat treatment of weld seam, cooling of tubing during initial cooling operation after heat treatment of weld seam. Performing operation of initial dimensioning of tubing to reduce its outer diameter, heat treatment to achieve the required material properties, cooling the tubing string during the final cooling operation after the heat treatment operation. Finished dimensional processing of the tubing is performed to further reduce its outer diameter and winding the tubing string on the drum during continuous movement between the storage device and the drum. Heat treatment of the pipe can be carried out in the form of austenitising, hardening or tempering.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce tubing string with certain material properties per one continuous cycle.
