SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pseudo-tactile feedback when controlling a camera, for example, when viewing immersive video content, for example, by means of head displays (hmd), or a television, or a mobile device, such as a tablet or an intelligent telephone. Result is achieved by the fact that immersive video content captured by remote motorized camera (10) is associated with reference directions (13). Parameters of function (32, 42, 53) of the mismatch are calculated. This function is used to control camera guidance direction (22). It represents the mismatch between the rotation desired by user (21) and the rotation of camera (22), causing the user to turn the camera towards the reference directions, preventing the user from turning the camera in the opposite direction. Principles of the present invention have the advantage of creating pseudo-tactile effects which induce the user to look in the reference direction without calling for discomfort.

EFFECT: preventing rotation of the camera by the user in a direction opposite to the reference direction due to loss of its visual reference points.
