FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of lighting system, including at least one luminaire, by means of portable computing device containing display and image capturing element. Result is achieved by the fact that a method carried out using a portable computing device comprises a gripper, using an image capturing element, an image of a space comprising a luminaire of said lighting system, wherein said image corresponds to actual type of said space through transparent display; identification of luminaire in said image; displaying required lighting environment on said transparent display; luminaire association on said actual view with required illumination atmosphere; and communicating with a lighting system to send a command to the luminaire to recreate said lighting environment.

EFFECT: technical result is the creation of a control system which provides real-time display of the effect on the lighting environment of changes made by user commands.
