FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to plant growing, and can be used in cultivation of amaranth seeds. Method is proposed for senication of amaranth crops in mountain zone, including treatment of crops, wherein for crop senication used prepared 10 % aqueous solution-extract obtained by steaming green mass of amaranth leaves in phase milk-wax ripeness of lower cluster, cooled, strained, after which the obtained aqueous solution-extract is mixed with Karmadon mineral water at rate of 200 l/ha and amaranth panicle is treated.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the processing method, reduces costs for its implementation, due to natural sources, and increases yield from 0_61 to 0_73 t/ha.
