FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to electronic equipment and a method for initiating the deployment of a parachute system. The electronic equipment contains an electronic microprocessor unit, an indication and control unit, an executing device. The microprocessor unit contains a casing, inside of which there is a board with a battery, a barometric sensor, a capacitor, an inertial navigation module with a multi-axis accelerometer. The executive device is made in the form of a gas generator and contains a sealed chamber filled with a gas igniting material, a movable knife, and an electric igniter. To initiate the opening of the parachute system, the air pressure at the landing site is measured and monitored during the flight, the real falling speed and the current altitude and the direction and magnitude of the vector of movement of the parachute system are calculated. When the measured data coincide with the initially set minimum values, a command is issued to initiate the deployment of the parachute system. EFFECT: improved landing safety is provided.
