FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly to parachuting, and is intended for landing both by separate paratroopers and groups of paratroopers with full set of necessary weapons and equipment from aircraft, equipped for landing of airborne troops. Parachute system for landing of airborne troops consists of the main parachute system, standby parachute system, stabilizing system, knapsack and harness system. Main parachute system consists of main parachute with canopy area of 25-30 m2, corrugation device and mounting ring. Reserve parachute system consists of reserve parachute with canopy area of 22-25 m2, corrugation device and mounting ring. Knapsack is mounted integral with harness system that makes a connecting link between the main parachute system, standby parachute system and parachutist. Knapsack is made of high-strength fabric and is intended for laying spare and main parachute systems, wherein main parachute is laid in upper compartment, reserve parachute in lower compartment.

EFFECT: expansion of the parachute system technical capabilities, namely: increase in the total flight weight to 160 kg; reduction of the average vertical component of the descent speed, reduced to the conditions of the international standard atmosphere, to 5 m/s with a flight weight of 140 kg; higher mean horizontal component of gliding speed (at least 11 m/s at flight weight of 140 kg), better wing aerodynamics.
