FIELD: threaded connections of pipes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to device for determination of quality of assembly of pipe threaded joints. Disclosed is a method of determining quality of assembly of threaded tubular components and a device for determining quality of assembly of threaded tubular components, comprising housing (2), made with possibility of installation on section of outer surface of threaded tubular component, wherein at least one measuring device (3) comprises contact layer (4) comprising plurality of temperature sensors (5), arranged to measure variable values characterizing temperature values in multiple positions E (i,j) of outer surface of tubular component end.
EFFECT: technical result is higher information value of detecting presence of abrasion between functional surfaces during connection of two ends of tubular components.
