THERMALLY INSULATED PIPE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC E21B17/00

Abstract RU 2742024 C1

FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry, in particular to affecting a productive formation by thermal methods and can also be used in other branches of the national economy, where the transporting a heat carrier with a high temperature and under high pressure is required. The thermally insulated pipe comprises internal and external pipes which are coaxially arranged in such a way that a sealed annular space is formed therebetween, a thermal insulation is arranged therein and a vacuum is created, the profile of the surface of the connection of the internal and external pipe is in the form of conjugate conical surfaces for ensuring sealing during the poring of the insulated pipes by means of a special insulating insert. At both ends of the outer tube, a screw with an external thread identical to the thread of the outer tube is cut, and at the other end a clutch with an insulating insert is fastened which is in the form of a sleeve of a certain length, on which cylindrical supports are provided at a certain distance from the ends thereof and are hermetically connected to the sleeve. An elastic sealing element or several elements in the form of cylindrical rings with an internal diameter equal to the outer diameter of the bush and with an outer diameter equal to the outer diameter of the support are mounted until the bush rest, and the outer surfaces of each of the stops and the sealing elements are closed by sliding shells therealong, which are provided with internal supports and are separated from each other by a spring element situated on the bushing between the inner supports of the shells.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improving the sealing quality of the joints of thermally insulating pipes, increasing the number of repairs to threaded joints and, as a result, significantly reducing the costs associated with major repairs of articles.
