SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biomedicine (1-[(E)-[5-hydroxy-2-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxy-phenyl)-7-[(2R,3S,4R,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-[[(2S,3R,4S,5S)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyl-tetrahydropyran-2-yl]oxymethyl]tetrahydropyran-2-yl]oxy-chroman-4-ylidene]amino]guanidine, having structural formula:
as well as a method for production thereof. Method is realized by reaction of narperidin with aminoguanidine hydrochloride in an organic solvent in the presence of hydrochloric acid.
EFFECT: disclosed is a novel compound having good solubility in aqueous media combined with stability in a wide range of pH values and ability to trap various types of damaging agents, such as reactive oxygen species, reducing sugars, glyoxal and methylglyoxal.
