FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to autonomous power sources and can be used to provide possibility of operation of thermoelectric generator (TEG) for recharging of accumulator battery (AB) at different voltage levels. Method of operation of TEG consists in conversion of heat energy into electric energy and supply of electric energy to storage battery through pulsed semiconductor converter and charging device, consists in the fact that pulsed semiconductor voltage converter is controlled by means of microcontroller so that during operation input resistance of electric energy consumer is adjusted to value of output resistance of thermoelectric generator.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of TEG operation efficiency by conversion of voltage and current levels in pulsed semiconductor converter so as to adjust input resistance of electric energy (charger) consumer to TEG output resistance value.
