FIELD: railway engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the power supply of passenger railway cars. The system of autonomous power supply of passenger railways includes a battery and a generator with an output variable three-phase voltage, the rotor of which receives rotation from the axis of the wheelset of the car, a voltage regulator and a secondary power source. At the same time, a static converter is used to generate voltages for powering the consumers of the car, which includes a constant voltage power converter and a constant voltage charging converter. A DC power converter consists of a controlled power chopper, which is connected via a diode to a group of stabilizing converters. A DC voltage charging converter with a series-connected DC voltage converter provides the battery charging process with a pulse stabilizer with PWM control by a power key based on signals from sensors of charging current, battery voltage and ambient temperature.
EFFECT: providing improved specific energy characteristics and to increasing the reliability of the autonomous power supply system.
