FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry. On section of tread of pneumatic tire slots are provided. First wall surface of the slot from the pair of wall surfaces of the slot includes at least two first sections of the flange and at least one first section of the recess in each position in the longitudinal direction of the slit, which are bent in the form of a wave-like profile with formation of depressions and ledges on the surface along the direction into the slit depth. First recess section is arranged between two first sections of the flange in the direction of the slit depth and passes from one end face of the slit in the longitudinal direction to the other end side of the slit in the longitudinal direction. Depth of recess of the first section of the flange relative to the first two sections of the flange gradually decreases. Position of at least one of the first two sections of the flange in the direction of the slit depth and the position of the first recess section towards the depth of the slit gradually approach each other.
EFFECT: higher stiffness of tire tread elements, as well as improved quality of tire debris during production.
