FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and namely to facilities for storing water-containing industrial waste (tailings dams or sludge collectors). The alluvial hydraulic structure just like the prototype consists of a flood embankment (1) erected around an alluviation map (2), a slurry pipeline (3), drainage devices connected to the pool (7) with clean water. The flood embankment (1) is made of box-shaped gabions laid in layers and fastened to each other. Together they form a vertical wall facing the alluviation map (2), while the horizontal and vertical surfaces of each tier of gabions are covered with a geotextile cloth with its entry under each alluvial layer, and the drainage device is made in the form of an outlet channel (6) with waterproofing from ground waters laid along the contour of the embankment (1) with a slope towards the pool (7) with clean water.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to shorten construction period of structure and to reduce the area of alluvial territories.
