SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plant cultivation and can be used for watering plants in greenhouses and gardens. The installation for automatic watering of plants includes a metering tank with a drain hole of a branch pipe, a two-arm lever, a float-type regulating device connected at one end through a lever with a float, a lock, a shut-off valve with a valve for water supply, a shut-off element for closing the opening of the branch pipe, a pipeline, a bracket of the outlet pipe with a two-arm lever located on it swinging on an axis. A two-arm lever with a rolling axis is fixed on the bracket one end of which is connected to the body of the discharge pipe and the other end is connected with a stop for turning the two-armed lever with a shut-off device. The shut-off device is equipped with a step around the perimeter, corresponding to the shape of the step of the clamping element made of ferrimagnetic material, surrounding the shut-off body in the form of dense flat wear-resistant rubber, and an annular permanent magnet is installed on the end of the outlet pipe to fix the shut-off device in the lower position of its lowering. In this case, the clamping element is attached to the two-arm lever with a cone that fits into a corresponding groove of the shut-off device.

EFFECT: invention improves reliability of all shut-off elements of the shut-off device and reduces the series of water hammers.
