SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rocket equipment and can be used in creation of controlled rocket engines. Mixing head of chamber of liquid-propellant engine, operating according to scheme with afterburning of generator gas, containing supply lines of generator gas and liquid component, housing and fire bottom with two-component nozzles fixed between them by means of soldering and nuts, in walls of which there are holes for liquid component supply, according to invention in cavity of liquid component between housing and fire bottom on external surface of nozzle there is a ledge, in which rests against the spring-loaded plunger, on the outer surface of which there is a sleeve connected to the ring installed on the outer surface of the nut, and in nozzle there are additional tangential holes connecting inner cavity of sleeve with cavity of nozzle, plunger has a cap on one end and two ledges under the spring from the other end, inner surfaces of the plunger and sleeve have labyrinth grooves, the ring is installed in the sleeve tightly, the inner and outer surfaces of the plunger are coated with silver.

EFFECT: invention provides higher specific thrust pulse at throttling modes.
