FORAGE TOOL HAVING MECHANISM FOR ADJUSTING DISC BLADE ANGLE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A01B21/08

Abstract RU 2742356 C2

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The agricultural forage tool comprises a main frame and is designed with the possibility of towing in the direction of movement through the field. The forage tool comprises at least one battery unit (21) having a set of disk blades (20). The battery unit (21) comprises a transverse supporting beam (30) attached to the main frame. Each of the set of disc blades (20) is suspended on a supporting beam (30) with a disc suspension unit (36) which comprises a flexible spring (38) having a lower end (42) on which a disc blade (20) is fixed and an upper end. In order to adjust the disc blade angle (20) relative to the direction of movement, a mechanism for adjusting a disc is provided being capable of rotatable fixing of disc suspension unit (36) for each of a set of disc blades (20) to a supporting beam (30). The mechanism for adjusting a disc comprises a rotatable fixing for each of a set of disc blades (20), each of which comprises a rod (56) connected to a supporting beam (30) and is capable of rotating the rotatable fixing around the turning point, the first arm connected to the disc suspension unit (36) and the crank arm running from the rod (56). The crank arms of each of the rotatable fixings are attached to the reciprocating motion part so that the movement of the reciprocating motion part results in each rotatable fixing rotating and adjusting the disc blade angle (20). An actuator (72) for each of the disc blades (20) is provided for moving the part with a reciprocating motion relative to the supporting beam in order to change the position of the crank arms. The disc suspension unit (36) is capable of changing the position of the disc blade (20) in such a way that the vertical centre line (C) of the disc blade (20) passes through the pivot point of the rod (56) so that the grooves created by the set of disc blades (20) do not shift laterally relative to each other when adjusting the angles of discs of disc blades (20). The rod (56) comprises a rotating finger running through a supporting beam (30) and a rotatable fixing allowing the rotatable fixing to rotate around the rod (56) when a trigger force is applied to the crank arm so that the rotating movement of the rotatable fixing results in the flexible spring (38) and the disc blade attached thereto rotating relative to the supporting beam (30).

EFFECT: enabled is an exclusion of lateral movement of grooves in the field.
