SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and namely to urology, surgery, and oncology. After transperitoneal access to the kidney is provided by opening Toldt's fascia, one should determine an area for safe exposure of renal pedicle vessels through preliminary visualization of the gonadal vein up to the confluence of the gonadal vein and the inferior vena cava (IVC) or up to the confluence of the gonadal vein and the renal vein and of the renal vein up to the confluence of the renal vein and the IVC or to the confluence of the gonadal vein and the renal vein. One should expose the lower pole of the kidney with further traction of the kidney beyond the fascia of Gerota upward towards the lateral abdominal wall using a hemostat. After that one should carry out dissection of the above-mentioned triangular-shaped area up to the psoas muscle. The above-mentioned triangular-shaped area is limited by anatomical landmarks. The first side is limited by the medial border of the kidney. The second side is limited by the cranial renal vein. The third side is limited by the gonadal vein. Then one should remove pararenal fat from this area. After that one should carry out dissection of the renal vein and the renal artery.

EFFECT: invention enhances security and makes it technically easier to expose renal pedicle vessels during endovideosurgical resection of the kidney and radical nephrectomy during laparoscopic and robot-assisted operations. It also minimizes the risk of complications and shortens the duration of an operation.
