FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the water and gas tight door on ships. The proposed door contains a frame, a door leaf having an outer side located in the direction of opening the door, and an inner side located in the direction of closing the door, and the leaf is movably connected to the frame by means of hinges and contains a bulge, which is made in the center of the leaf and has a shape of the said web, and a flange located along the edges of the web, a hatchway mechanism mounted on the web with the ability to lock the door, at least one handle passing through the web and connected to the locking mechanism with the ability to control it, and a seal placed around the perimeter canvases. The invention is characterized in that the convexity of the web protrudes from the outer side of the web, and the flange protrudes from the inner side of the web, while the web contains at least one rift.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing strength of the web structure while maintaining its thickness due to the creation of a web structure with a uniform or quasi-uniform surface strength, which ensures uniform tension of the web in the longitudinal and transverse directions.
