FIELD: radar.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and can be used in multi-position radar monitoring systems for detecting the problem of hidden detection and for determining the spatial coordinates of a scanning radio radiation source (RRS). The time method for determining the spatial coordinates of the scanning RRS is carried out with the aid of a passive or active-passive multi-positioning radar system (MPRS) consisting of five receiving points divided into two identical subsystems. Each of them has three reception points (RP) arranged on the same line in a horizontal plane, with one receiving point common to both subsystems and located at the intersection of the lines at which the reception points of each subsystem are located. Independently for each subsystem, the coordinates of the RRS location points in the planes formed by the lines of the RP subsystems and the RRS location point are calculated. The inclined ranges from the RRS to all RPs and the possible position of the RRS in space for each of the subsystems are determined, characterized by a position line, a semicircle formed by the rotation of the triangle, with two any subsystem reception points and the calculated RRS position point in the plane for the respective subsystem relative to the line containing the selected subsystem reception points. The co-ordinates of the centers of the semicircles, the co-ordinates of the intersection point of lines which are projections of the semicircles into the horizontal plane, and the horizontal ranges of the circumferences of the system are calculated. The altitude of the RRS is determined according to the values of inclined and horizontal ranges relative to the selected RP system.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of determining the spatial coordinates of a scanning radio radiation source.
