SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in wide base radio monitoring systems for determining bearing of a radio-frequency radiation source (RRS). Instead of relaying a signal from a peripheral to a central station the significant (from the view point of information of coordinate measurement) fragment of the signal is transmitted. The proposed device consists of two peripheral stations (PS), a central reception and processing station (CS), communication channels between the peripheral and central stations, a common timing system, where each peripheral station consists of an antenna, an analogue-to-digital converter (ADC), a memory unit (MU), a control device (CD) and a timer; the central station consists of an antenna, an analogue-to-digital converter, a memory unit, a query composer, a timer, a signal processing device, three buffer memory elements, measurement system having to units for measuring difference in reception time of the signal of the radio-frequency radiation source, a processing and display system having a computing unit and a unit for displaying results.
EFFECT: removal of limitations on transmission capacity of communication channels between peripheral and central stations in spaced radio monitoring systems.
