FIELD: internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines (ICE). A method for driving an internal combustion engine fuel injector with a liquid reciprocating electric drive is proposed. When an alternating voltage is applied to the coil (1) of the reciprocating electric drive, the plunger-magnet (2) makes oscillatory movements, in which the liquid from both cavities of the plunger-magnet through one pair of check valves (4, 8) enters the power accumulator (5), and through another pair of check valves (6, 9), the liquid from the compensating accumulator (7) enters the opposite cavities of the plunger-magnet. To inject fuel into the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine using a fuel injector (10), the control system sets the two-seat valve gates (11) to the upper position. The liquid from the power accumulator (5) through the channel (12), the two-seat valve shutter channel (13) and the channel (14) enters the upper cavity of the fuel injector piston (15). The liquid from the opposite, lower, cavity of the fuel injector drive piston (16) through channel (17), two-seat valve gate channel (18), channel (19) and through the check valve (20) enters the compensating accumulator (7). The fuel injector moves downward and injects fuel into the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine. To set the fuel injector to the initial position for supplying fuel to the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine, the control system sets the two-seat valve gates (11) to the lower position. The liquid from the power accumulator (5) through the channel (12), the shutter channel of the two-seat valve (18) and the channel (17) enters the lower cavity of the piston of the fuel injector drive (16). The liquid from the opposite, upper, cavity of the fuel injector drive piston (15) through the channel (14), the two-seat valve gate channel (13), the channel (21) and the check valve (20) enters the compensating accumulator (7).

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the resource of the drive system of the fuel injector of the internal combustion engine.
