FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in processing metal parts of machines by surface plastic deformation methods, in particular, by coining. Embossing head comprises striker and stock installed on axis with possibility of rotation. Hammer is spring-loaded relative to rod by four plate springs, each of which rests against pin installed on hammer, and on it symmetrically to rod first and second sleeves are fixed. In first sleeve first pusher from below is connected with first hold-down spring, and from above with adjusting screw installed in end of first sleeve. In the second case, the second pusher is connected to the second pressure spring from above. First and second pushers have length equal to half length of rod.
EFFECT: uniform deformation of metal grains, reduced surface roughness.
