FIELD: works at heights.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for ensuring work at heights. The technical result is achieved in that the step-ladder comprises movable sections moving relative to each other, wherein each movable section is formed on one side by longitudinal bearing beams of the step-ladder section hingedly connected in pairs, on the side opposite to the hinges the longitudinal bearing beams of the step-ladder section are hingedly connected to the steps of the step-ladder, with the hinged connections between the longitudinal bearing beams of the adjacent sections of the step-ladder with the step are shifted relative to each other in the direction of the axis of folding/unfolding of the step-ladder and transfer elements are rigidly connected to each longitudinal bearing section beam axis of the longitudinal bearing beams of the adjacent sections of the step-ladder with the step which ensures the rotation of the longitudinal bearing beams of the adjacent sections of the step-ladder on the hinged joints of the longitudinal bearing beams of the adjacent sections of the step-ladder, with the folding mechanism being provided with a lock for the intermediate positions of the ladder.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction in the dimensions of the step-ladder in the folded state and the maximum use of the length of the elements determining the height of the ladder.
